Participants will learn how to create a miniature home for a fairy, elf, gnome or other woodland creature that needs a cozy habitat. The instructors will give ideas and help participants to build their own small wonder using provided tools and supplies that include natural materials, a terracotta pot or basket and a handmade ceramic fairy door. Workshop participants will be encouraged to include their creation in the Trail of Small Wonders, an installation of miniature handmade houses and abodes on view at the Westwood Hills Nature Center June 29 through July 16.
